A LARGE SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE STUDY OF ALISHER NAVOI'S HERITAGE WAS HELD ON THE INITIATIVE OF NAVOI INNOVATION UNIVERSITY
On February 14, 2025, a Republican Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic "The Role of Alisher Navoi's Creative Heritage in the Spiritual and Educational Development of Humanity" was held on the initiative of Navoi Innovation University.
This prestigious event was attended by well-known Navoi scholars and literary scholars, including Professor of the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi, Doctor of Philology Nurboy Jabborov, Professor of the International Islamic Academy, Doctor of Philology Aftondil Erkinov, Professor of the Samarkand State University, Doctor of Philology Usmon Qobilov, Professor of the Bukhara State University, Doctor of Philology Husniddin Eshonkulov, Associate Professor of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology Shakhlo Hojiyeva, Associate Professor of Navoi State University, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology Zarif Kuvonov, as well as university professors and teachers, young researchers and students.
The international significance of Alisher Navoi's legacy, his great contribution to the development of world culture and science, was discussed in detail at the conference. In particular, valuable information was presented about Navoi's manuscripts stored in the New York National Library and rare sources located in American libraries.
Also, the scientific conference expressed its views on European museums that reflect the Uzbek-Turkish spiritual heritage, and a 3-volume collection of books prepared on the basis of the Uzbek heritage stored in foreign libraries was donated to the university.
At the end of the event, the scientists who participated in the scientific conference were awarded special certificates and valuable souvenirs. This scientific meeting was a big step towards in-depth study and promotion of the heritage of Hazrat Navoi. The lectures of expert scientists were of great importance in that they further increased the interest of our students in understanding the heritage of Navoi.
