"Fighting AIDS: Meeting of Students and Experts"
In order to raise awareness among the world community, increase the level of awareness of the population about acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), as well as to provide medical, material and psychological support to people suffering from this disease, in 1988 the World Health Organization declared "December 1st of each year as World AIDS Day".
On this occasion, an event to combat AIDS was held at Navoi Innovation University. Sattorov Kh.K., a specialist from the Navoi Regional AIDS Center, was invited to the event.
The event was attended by the head of the department "Exact, Technical and Natural Sciences" B.Kh. Eshpulatov, vice-rector for youth issues and spiritual and educational work A.Ergashov, professors and teachers of Biology B.D., prof. M.S. Rabbimova and 1st year students participated.
