About the Program

The program trains not just philologists, but modern educators capable of effectively teaching Russian as a native and as a foreign language. You will gain fundamental knowledge about the structure of the language, the history of literature, and master advanced teaching methods relevant to schools and language centers in Uzbekistan.

Curriculum

  • Linguistics: Modern Russian Literary Language, Introduction to Linguistics, History of the Russian Language.
  • Literary Studies: History of Russian Literature, Theory of Literature, Children's Literature.
  • Pedagogical Skills: Pedagogy and Psychology, Methods of Teaching Russian Language and Literature.
  • Practical Disciplines: Latin Language, Foreign Language (English), Speech Culture.

Internship and Experience

Students undergo teaching internships in general education schools (with Russian and Uzbek languages of instruction), academic lyceums, as well as in private language centers.

Graduates can work as:
