About the Program

The program trains power engineers capable of designing, operating, and modernizing energy systems. This program is especially relevant as you will study not only classical electrical power engineering but also gain knowledge about solar and wind power plants, as well as the technologies needed to develop renewable energy sources (RES) and charging station infrastructure for electric vehicles.

Curriculum

  • Engineering Foundation: Higher Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Computer Graphics.
  • Electrical Engineering: Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Engineering.
  • Power Systems: Electric Power Stations and Substations, Electric Grids and Systems, Power Supply.
  • Modern Technologies: Renewable Energy Sources, Relay Protection and Automation.

Internship and Experience

Students undergo internships at power plants, substations, regional power grids, and in the energy departments of large industrial enterprises in the Navoi region.
