About the Program

The program is designed taking into account the needs of leading mining companies, such as NGMK. Students study the entire work cycle: from geological exploration and quarry design to the operation of modern mining equipment, digital deposit modeling, and ensuring industrial safety. You will gain fundamental engineering knowledge and practical skills for working in the modern mining industry.

Curriculum

• Engineering and Technical Base: Higher Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering and Computer Graphics.
• Earth Sciences: General Geology, Geodesy and Mine Surveying.
• Fundamentals of Mining: Introduction to Mining, Rock Physics, Drilling and Blasting Operations.
• Safety and Technology: Industrial Safety and Labor Protection, Fundamentals of Production Automation.

Internship and Experience

Students undergo internships directly at the production sites of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat and other industrial enterprises in the region. This is a unique opportunity to learn from the best specialists and work with advanced equipment.
